Scaffold Rescue Management

AIMS & OBJECTIVES

The aim of the Scaffold Rescue Management Training course is for senior staff/management to have an awareness of their responsibilities within the workplace. This will include a more detailed approach to Rescue, including writing Rescue plans, implementing correct equipment and Rescue procedures to suit a sites individual specifications.

COURSE CONTENT

Upon successful completion of the Scaffold Rescue Management Training course delegates will have the required knowledge in the following areas:

  • Legislation/guidelines covering working at height/rescue
  • How to manage systems of work covering workers in the workplace at height
  • Knowledge and understanding of how to define/set up suitable anchorage systems (Normal)
  • Knowledge and understanding of how to define/set up suitable anchorage systems (Complex)
  • Knowledge and understanding of systems of work, to include the planned rescue/retrieval of casualties

PREREQUISITES

  • Working at Height & Harness awareness certificate
  • Emergency First Aid at Work certificate

CERTIFICATION

All successful delegates will receive a certificate and ID card covering their training for 2 years
