Taskmasters have a long-established relationship with The Houses of Parliament Estates, which has included working on The Elizabeth Tower, known as Big Ben. These works have been on going over the last decade, in order to preserve the Historic, World renowned and loved Iconic Landmark. We have completed numerous tasks that have included; surveying, and of course the cleaning of the multiple face whilst the world was watching.
This has involved Taskmasters giving live interview/commentary to BBC, SKY, ITN and CNN and other world media organisations whilst the works were in progress. In additon we have also worked along side camera crews covering footage in preparation for a planned BBC 2 documentary that was going to be covered on TV, which resulted in our abseiling works appearing in a major role on the BBC 2 programme ‘Inside the Commons’.
The Taskmasters Team feel honoured to be working with the parliamentary team, behind the scenes at Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament, to help keep the historic buildings and tower in pristine condition.
