GWO Combined 5 Module Refresher Training

The GWO Combined 5 Module Offshore Refresher Training gives wind turbine technicians a full refresh of the five core modules in order to access turbines to complete works offshore.

This training is aimed towards technicians working on offshore wind farms. Modules included are; Working at Height Refresher, Sea Survival Refresher, First Aid Refresher, Manual Handling Refresher and Fire Awareness Refresher.

COURSE OVERVIEW

This combined training module refreshes delegates skills and knowledge to work in a safe manner within the wind and renewables industry, through theoretical and practical training.

AIMS & OBJECTIVES

The aim of the GWO Basic Safety Combined Refresher Module is to provide wind turbine technicians with full refresh of the five core modules in order to revalidate their certificates, enabling them to access turbines to complete works offshore safely.

The GWO Combined 5 Module Offshore Refresher Training includes:

• Working at Height Refresher
• Sea Survival Refresher
• First Aid Refresher
• Manual Handling Refresher
• Fire Awareness Refresher

PREREQUISITES

• Valid GWO certification for all the modules you are refreshing.
• You must be aged 18 years or above and be registered with WINDA before you arrive for your course.
• A good standard of general fitness is required, you will also need to complete a medical questionnaire.

CERTIFICATION

GWO certificate – valid for 2 years.
Please note – certificates are to be refreshed every 2 years.
