GWO TRAININGWorking at Height Training

Taskmasters are a certified Training Provider for Global Wind Organisation (GWO) training courses. We offer all Seven Modules for GWO Basic Safety Training (BST) courses including Sea Survival and Advanced Rescue, all from our 10,000 square foot Training Academy, in Kent in the South East of England.

Courses covered include Basic Safety training for; Working at Height, Sea Survival, First Aid, Manual Handling & Fire Awareness along with GWO Advanced Rescue (ART) and GWO Enhanced First Aid (EFA) for both Full and Refresher courses.

Taskmasters are also a Siemens GWO approved training provider and a supplier of Wind Industry FPE Products.

TASKMASTERS GWO COURSES

GWO Working at Height GWO Basic Safety Working at Height Training is aimed towards technicians who wish to access and work on wind turbines. This course covers elements from safe access, evacuation & rescues from different zones of a turbine.

GWO First Aid

GWO Basic Safety First Aid Training is aimed towards technicians in remote areas utilising kits to preserve and protect casualties until help arrives. This course covers elements from surveying casualties, CPR, AED's, & basic first aid care.

GWO Sea SurvivalGWO Basic Safety Sea Survival Training is aimed towards technicians looking to work on off-shore wind farms. This course covers elements from Vessel transfers, swimming techniques, evacuations, and life preserving equipment & techniques.

GWO Manual HandlingGWO Basic Safety Manual Handling Training is aimed towards technicians who wish to access and work on wind turbines. This course covers elements from negative affects to the anatomy from poor manual handling techniques, safe lifting & movement when transporting objects.

GWO Fire AwarenessGWO Basic Safety Fire Awareness Training is aimed towards technicians who wish to access and work on wind turbines. This course covers elements from emergency planning, safe evacuation, correct assessment of fires, and usage of extinguishers and fire blankets.

GWO Full Course InformationGWO Basic Safety Combined 5 Module Training gives wind turbine technicians a full complement of the 5 core modules in order to access turbines to complete works off-shore. Modules included are; Working at Height, Sea Survival, First Aid, Manual Handling & Fire Awareness.

The course is set out to teach individuals to perform entry-type injured person rescue operations, in a WTG, using industry standard rescue equipment, methods & techniques, exceeding those of GWO Working at Height.

This course is designed to enable individuals to administer safe, effective and immediate lifesaving and enhanced first aid measures to save a life and give assistance in remote areas using advanced emergency equipment and medical teleconsultation.

This course combines GWO Advanced Rescue and GWO Enhanced First Aid. It is set out to teach individuals to perform entry-type injured person rescue operations and enable individuals to administer safe, effective and immediate lifesaving treatment.

The course is set out to teach individuals to perform rescue operations, in a WTG hub, spinner & inside the blade, using industry standard rescue equipment, methods & techniques, exceeding those of GWO Working at Height.

The course is set out to teach individuals to perform rescue operations, in a WTG nacelle, tower & basement, using industry standard rescue equipment, methods & techniques, exceeding those of GWO Working at Height.

The course is set out to teach individuals to perform single rescuer advanced rescue operations, in a WTG hub, spinner & inside the blade, using industry standard rescue equipment, methods & techniques, exceeding those of GWO Working at Height.
