INTRODUCTION TO HARNESS AWARENESS
(SAFETY HARNESS TRAINING)
Harness awareness training or (safety harness training) remains a pivotal course for educating both employers and employees on the correct practices of how to wear and adjust a harness correctly and safely along with general guidance on care and maintenance on the relevant fall protection equipment (harnesses and lanyards).
HARNESS AWARENESS (SAFETY HARNESS) TRAINING COURSE OVERVIEW
Our harness awareness training courses (safety harness training) is aimed at those who may not work at height on a regular basis. Harness awareness training (safety harness training) educates both employers and employees on the correct practices of how to wear a harness and adjust the harness along with general guidance on care and maintenance on necessary fall protection equipment provisions for both a harnesses and lanyard. Candidates will be informed of the common dangers whilst working at height or with a safety system and given further advice in reducing the risks of falling by the correct use of a harnesses and lanyard.
WHAT IS THE MAXIMUM NUMBER OF DELEGATES FOR OUR HARNESS AWARENESS OR SAFETY HARNESS TRAINING COURSE?
The maximum number of delegates for any harness awareness (safety harness training) course is 12 candidates.
WHAT IS THE DURATION FOR A HARNESS AWARENESS (SAFETY HARNESS TRAINING) COURSES?
The duration of a harness awareness / safety harness course training course is half a day.
WHERE CAN YOU COMPLETE YOUR HARNESS AWARENESS (SAFETY HARNESS TRAINING)
TASKMASTERS TRAINING CENTRE
Training can be completed at our indoor training centre which offers 12,000sq of realistic & a controlled practical training environment with numerous training structures including Tower Crane Sloped Roof with Fragile Roof Light, Telecoms Towers, Refreshment Lounge and much more. All relevant fall protection and equipment will be provided on the day.
ON SITE TRAINING
We also offer the option of on site training where our experience trainers will come to site to complete your harness awareness training course (safety harness training). This service will incur additional travel expenses and would require you to provide both a safe and suitable environment for both the practical and theoretical parts. (This includes providing a classroom with access to an overhead projector.)
PRE REQUISITES FOR HARNESS AWARNESS TRAINING/ SAFETY HARNESS TRAINING.
All candidates must be over 18 years of age in order to complete this course as well as being asked to complete a self-certificated medical questionnaire. it would also be wise to ensure candidates wear suitable and comfortable clothing for their harness awareness training/ Safety harness training.
