Tower Crane Rescue Services
Taskmasters are one of the UK's specialists in Tower Crane Rescues and offer several services in this area to cover all requirements whether long or short term.
Chaperone & Standby Services for Tower Cranes
Taskmasters Chaperone & Standby services are provided across many industries including Construction, Refurbishment and Maintenance.
Rescue chaperones provide peace of mind for personnel who may become trapped or incapacitated whilst on a tower crane saving valuable time whilst the emergency services are called to site. Taskmasters can also assist with both First Aid Teams on site as well as the Emergency Services and ensure casualty retrieval and a completed rescue.
Standby teams provide a rescue service during contracted hours. Using an emergency helpline number our customers can call us and request assistance in an emergency rescue situation. Taskmasters deploy a team who will assist with the rescue both over the phone and upon arrival to site, including handover to the emergency services.
All Taskmasters Chaperones & members of the Standby Team are fully trained industrial abseilers that can provide both self and assisted rescues using their own abseil equipment. They can also come with rescue equipment specific to the needs of the site. In some cases multiple chaperones can be provided to cover the potential rescue of multiple workers if required.
Rescue Equipment and Training
Taskmasters are one of the major suppliers of Rescue Equipment and Training within the UK Construction industry.
Our Rescue Training Courses are all bespoke covering equipment and work methods that are to be used on site. This ensures that trainees know what to do in a situation that is specific to their working environment. Refresher training is required for all candidates on a regular basis and this can be completed on site if required.
Taskmasters own Safe Return Rescue Systems were specifically developed for Tower Crane Rescue, but also cover many other types of evacuation on a site – making them a versatile solution to construction based rescues. We also use this system within our chaperone service (where suitable).
